Rest has become a lost art, but it doesn’t have to be. In fact, there is no better time than right now to enter into rest. With a global system that generates fear and worry by going from one terrible story to the next, with economies crashing, and with world powers shifting, we have the amazing opportunity to step into God’s faith-rest life—a life that transcends this natural realm. It is our privilege as believers to supersede fear and worry and shine the light of God’s Kingdom to the world around us. Let’s grab hold of what He has already accomplished for us in His death and resurrection. It is time to leave behind our own sad attempts to make ourselves righteous and step into all that He has for us.
